This article summarizes the development status and successful application experience of backfill mining in Hunan province, and analyzes the situation of backfill mining at home and abroad. Due to the discharge of a large amount of industrial wastewater, waste materials, and exhaust gases, the natural ecological environment has deteriorated. People are increasingly aware of the importance of strengthening mining environmental protection and comprehensive utilization of mineral resources, and there is an urgent need to achieve green mining. Backfilling mining technology is the main supporting technology for green mining.
